How many types of red pigment paste? 

How does paint formulation engineer choose the applicable pigment paste?  This question is very complicated, because the types of pigment paste is too much. This article will introduce one kind of larger amount sold pigment pastes---red pigment paste.

Firstly, we would learn something about red pigment types, because pigment is the key material for producing pigment paste. Red pigment color paste is made by red pigments, and the characteristics of the red pigment also determines the key characteristics of the red pigment paste.

The red pigment is divided into organic red pigment and inorganic red pigment according to the structure.  Organic red pigments can be divided into azo red pigment, disazo red pigment, azo fine red pigment, heterocyclic red pigment, quinacridone red pigment, dioxazine red pigment, vat red pigment and etc ; inorganic red pigment also can be divided into molybdenum red, cadmium red, antimony sulfide, transparent iron red, natural iron red, molybdenum cadmium red, mercury sulfide, red lead (lead red) and so on.

Due to the different structures of red pigments, it has an important effect on the physical properties, chemical properties and safety parameters of red pigment pastes. So the paint formula engineers will always ask the pigment paste manufacturer s for red pigment color index, in order to know whether the pigments performance meets their application requirement.

Red pigment paste can be produced by different types red pigments, and sometimes some types red pigments are mixed to produce red pigment paste.  Coatings formula engineers should select the right red pigment to manufacture red color pigment paste.

Special description of CD series water based pigment paste for textile catioinc dyeing

CAISON  brand CD series cationic water based pigment paste (adult underwear safety) is professionally used for dyeing of cotton, linen, polyester, acrylic and variety of blended fabrics, garments and yarn.  Compared with the traditional pigment paste dyeing, CD series pigment paste dyeing is process simplification, and doesn't need cationization pretreatment of coton or blended fabrics. It can dye textile directly with "one bath dyeing", so less dyed wastewater, lower energy consumption, leveling agent no needed, it saves the dyeing time and material costs. But some special characteristics nees to be explained:

1. CD series cationic water based pigment paste fully meets the standard of Oeko-Tex100:2017 (Class II) (content limited requirement of formaldehyde, heavy metals, phthalates, APEO and 24 kinds of prohibited aromatic amine); in line with the EU REACH regulations of SVHC (178 kinds limited substances issued the latest ).

2. The dyed textiles don't need grafting or washing, its process is more simpler, the operation is more convenient, the dyeing rate is higher. Pre-dyeing conditions and the best dyeing liquid PH value for different fabrics has different requirement, and you can contact our technical support.

3. Compared with the modified dyeing with traditionalwater-based pigment paste, water consumption is less, wastewater emissions is reduced, so it doesn't only save water , but also save the cost of wastewater treatment.

4. Dyeing cycle is shorter than the traditional pigment paste, further reduce the consumption of additives, water and energy. It is currently leading eco-friendly and energy saving pigment paste. The dyeing fastness had reached the traditional pigment dyeing fastness.

5. The adding amount of matched water-based binders is lower, fabrics hand feeling is better;

6. The colors of CD series aqueous pigment color paste includes red, yellow, blue, green, violet, black, fluorescent colors and etc. We also can design and prepare the other colors based on the specific requirement.

Note:  The instruction of pigment paste testing condition about content of formaldehyde, heavy metals, phthalates, 24 kinds of prohibited aromatic amines and APEO:  they are all tested according to the 10% adding amount of pigment paste which is prepared to water paste or rubber paste  and printed on fabrics. If you want to exceed the above pigment paste amount condiiton, please make the sample testing before bulk using.

红色浆有多少种类？

涂料配方工程师如何选择适用的色浆？这个问题很复杂,原因在于色浆的品种种类实在太多！本文今天主要介绍一些水性涂料中用量较大的红色浆。

红色浆种类有很多种，首先我们得了解下红色颜料的种类。因为颜料是色浆的关键原材料，红色浆就是用红颜料生产出来的！而红颜料的特性也决定了红色浆的主要特性。

红色颜料按结构分为有机红颜料和无机红颜料。 有机红颜料又可以分为偶氮红颜料, 偶氮系红颜料, 双偶氮红颜料, 偶氮色淀红颜料, 杂环红颜料, 喹吖啶酮红颜料, 二噁嗪红颜料, 还原红颜料等；无机红颜料又可以分为钼铬红, 镉红, 硫化锑, 透明铁红, 天然铁红, 钼镉红, 硫化汞,红丹（铅红）等。

由于红色颜料结构的不同，对红色浆的物理性能、化学性能、安全指标，都有重要的影响，所以涂料配方工程师一般都会向色浆生产厂家索要红色浆的颜料索引号，以便了解色浆的颜料性能是否满足应用需要！

Lasted three days, 2017 China Inter-Dye Show was successful conclusion. Thank you to visit Shanghai Caison company booth.  

In three days show, more than 100 guests had learned the company information and pigment paste products of Shanghai Caison Color Material Chem. Co., Ltd.

The visitors from domestic and overseas had talked with Shanghai Caison exhibition staff when they saw our booth.

Some clients from Bangladesh had made further communication with our leader for CAISON brand textile cationic dyeing pigment paste, they hoped to promote such eco-friendly water based pigment paste in their textile industry.

The 17th China Inter-Dye Show started| Shanghai Caison Color got a good harvest

April 12, the 17th China Inter-Dye Show had held in Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Hall. The booth number of Shanghai Caison Color is B685, and so many visitors had visited our booth and asked some question and inquiry about our pigment paste products. The customers with different demand were interested in different series water-based pigment paste products, they all required us to offer pigment paste samples and quotation list soon.

After two days' show, the most of customers were interested in following products:

今天上午，在水性色浆智造商上海彩生总部大楼三楼会议室，2017中国国际染料展最后一个准备会议召开，上海彩生董事长虞幸芝女士听取了上海彩生彩生贸易公司总经理的展会准备工作汇报！

展板制作完毕；展会礼品准备完毕；上海彩生客户为展会提供的水性色浆着色的样品准备完毕；展会人员安排准备完毕；布展人员落实完毕；展会产品资料准备完毕；

上海彩生将在本次2017中国国际染料展上展出近三年上海彩生研发的新色浆产品，最安全的婴幼儿产品着色用水性色浆、PVC色浆（适合PVC压延工艺）、阳离子型纺织品一浴染色水性色浆。

The sales of water based pigment paste increased by 2% in the first quarter of 2017

The sales of CAISON water based pigment paste had increased by 2% to the same time of last year. The Sales Manager of Shanghai Caison had done the reason analysis about weak increasing:

 1. Due to the rising of pigment paste materials costs last month, some of clients made more orders in advance, resulting that the pigment paste sales of February had increased to a new high record；

 2. Environmental inspections were carried out in China in March, so many customers of pigment paste applications had to stop production  and accept the inspection. The pigment paste demand was not enough.

But still good news for us:

From April 12th to 14th, the China Inter-Dye 2017 will be hold at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Hall (No.1099 Guozhan Road, Pudong New District ,Shanghai). Shanghai Caison has been participating in the eleventh year! The booth number is B685 which is no changed for nearly 5 years.

Shanghai Caison had made all preparatiory works, such as members of the exhibition team, new products recommended, exhibition free gift,  exhibition poster and etc. All of these is only for you to better understand Shanghai Caison Color and Caison brand water-based pigment paste products.

During this exhibition, we will provide some fluroescent colors eco-friendly cationic pigment paste samples for free, in order to promote the development of water-based pigment paste to more environmental friendly direction.
