Pigment paste or dyes paste ink for digital printing

A few days ago, Mr. Xu who is the techincal commissioner of Shanghai Caison  received a calling from one of customers. He asked whether Shanghai Caison had water based pigment paste for textile digital printing, and also wanted to  know if this pigment paste would block the nozzle ? If yes, is it because of the bigger size of pigment paste particles?  This customer told Mr.Xu that he had bought a digital printing machine, but matched water based pigment paste which was used for printing was too expensive.

Because of no plate making and flexible modification, textile digital printing just is needed connected with computer, just lower pollution and wasterwater is caused, so its development is very fast in today's Europe and the United States.  It can replace flat screen printing, and is good for single printing and mass production! But the color performance in ditigal printing is not the same as  traditional flat screen printing and rotary screen printing on fabrics, the chemical performance of dyes paste ink is not good enough for spraying. However, water based pigment paste ink is closer to the color shown and required, but so fine pigment particles need consume much more energy and working hours. This bviously hinders the broader development of digital printing !

Mr.Xu and this customer had made a deep discussion the reason that water based pigment color paste would block the nozzle of digital prinrting machine. Mr Xu thought that it was caused by the essence of pigment paste.  The pigment particles are ground to the nanometer level during the grinding process, but he pigment particles are still easy to accumulate in the storage and transportation. Then the balance of pigment paste is easily to be destroyed. That's why Shanghai Caison company didn't make the project for spray paint pigment paste business.

Continuous development and progress of textile digital printing is the necessity, and water based pigment color paste also needs continue to improve their quality and performance in order to obtain better market development opportunities.
