Factors to affect the high temperature resistance of fabric printing pigment paste

Most of clients would ask for some question about pigment paste performances when they are going to buy some water based pigment paste,  and some of these questions are about the high temperature resistance, what is high temperature pigment paste can bear?

In fact, high temperature resistance of pigment paste is affected by three key factors:

1. Pigment paste temperature resistance is closely related with pigments performance. Heterocyclic class of senior organic pigments has better temperature resistance. So you should check the pigment materials of pigment paste before purchasing.

2. The using amount of pigment paste will affect its temperature resistance in the coloring process. The more pigment paste adding amount, the better temperature performance.

3. Application or methods of pigment paste also affect its temperature resistant.  When water based pigment paste is used for textile screen printing and needed high temperature pressing, 150 ℃ pressing process is relatively common, but some special screen printing process of pigment paste would be at 180 ℃,  200 ℃, even 220 ℃.

According to the market demand of pigment paste, Shanghai Caison recommends CTH series high-temperature fastness pigment paste as following:

Red pigment paste: CTH-1001、 CTH-1002、 CTH-1007;

Yellow pigment paste: CTH-2001、 CTH-2004、 CTH-2005;

Blue pigment paste: CTH-3001、 CTH-3010、 CTH-3020、CTH-3030、CTH-3040;

Black pigment paste: CTH-5000、 CTH-5010;

Green pigment paste: CTH-6001、 CTH-6010;

Violet pigment paste: CTH-7010、 CTH-7020;

When the above pigment paste is added by 0.01%,  it can bear the high-temperature pressing at 220℃ for 10 sceonds with no color changing.
