Latex products coloring

For the coloring of latex products, so many factories still use the old way of "dry powder coloring", just mix the pigment powders and latex materials to stir, and the pigment powders are processed by rough grinding and dispersing.  And you should know the latex coloring is key factor in latex product quality. 

Actually, preparation of dry pigment powder formulation is too simple, production equipment is is relatively backward.Even if making dozens of hours grinding and stirring, the fineness and color strength of pigment paste still hard to be greatlly improved, and poor storage stability. It easily casuses precipitation phenomena, just can be produced when needing at the moment.

When the water based pigment paste is used in the latex system, it can provide bright colors and excellent brightness for latex products. First,  pigment paste must has vey good compatibility with latex materials, otherwise, it will cause uneven color, poor brightness and other problems.So when we design the P series latex tinting pigment paste formulation, we should make some compatibility testings between selected additives and latex materials, to avoid various problems because of bad compatibility.

At the same time, water-based pigment paste should reach the best dispersion degree before applied in latex system. Not only it can avoid latex agglutination because of big particles pigment, but also can improve higher color strength, bright shade and excellent brightness.
